Dr Stephen Snars has practiced in Penrith for 39 years and, since graduating from Sydney University in 1979, has been banging on about good oral hygiene and keeping your teeth the whole time. His focus is on prevention of dental disease and, where possible, simple and affordable solutions. He believes in conservation of natural structures as much as possible, early diagnosis and intervention and the role of education in treatment of disease.
Outside of dentistry he sails, surfs, plays guitar and likes old cars. He is president of a community theatre company, directs and acts in stage plays, and occasionally is an extra or bit player on TV. He is married with two adult children and all are involved in performing arts.
